General Information
With the October 2019 release of macOS 10.15 (Catalina), Apple removed support for 32-bit applications. While many 32-bit applications may install on Catalina, they will not run. This affects the following 32-bit-only titles in the Multi-Tenant Munki service:
Title
Suggested Replacement
Google Earth
Google Earth Pro (free)
Google Voice and Video
Google Chrome, or the Hangouts extension with other web browsers
Mathematica 11
Mathematica 12
Microsoft Silverlight
None
While the above titles will remain in the MTM service, all have the maximum OS set to 10.14.6 in the pkginfo file, so Munki will not install them on 10.15 systems.
The Endpoint Services team recommends that unit IT Pros uninstall these applications from managed Macs and remove them from their unit manifests, so that the Endpoint Services team can archive them.
