How to add Department/Unit Folders for Team Dynamix in AuthMan
A Department/Unit Folder has been created in Authorization Manager for Team Dynamix access. The steps below are how to create the Department/Unit groups for access and privileges.
Once the Team Dynamix Admins notify the Department/Unit Admins that their folder has been created in Authorization Manager (AuthMan), they can then create a group under that folder. This can be done by opening the Department/Unit’s folder under their Campus, selecting ‘Functions’ and then selecting ‘Create new group’.
The group name is determined by the Department/Unit. To keep with the naming conventions in AuthMan, please do not name it the same as the Department/Unit. Authman allows the use of underscore "_" and dash "-" only, no other special characters can be used in naming. In the example above, the group is for the Department/Unit Help Desk. So, the name of the group is BWHelpDesk without spaces. Make sure to put a detailed description in for the group in this record also.
When the group is created, you will see a Success comment at the top of the screen. You will need to refresh your “Browse folders” pane by clicking on the two arrows to the right of “Browse folders”. From here you can add the employees who are apart of this group.
