How to utilize the music on hold (MOH) function on Yealink IP Phones

Some Yealink IP Phones allow for using a local hold music file directly on the device via a function called 'music on hold' or MOH. If your device has this option, it can be located by logging into the IP Phone via the web interface, then going to Settings> MOH.

Use the following setup:

MOH Enable - Enabled

MOH Mode - Local Custom

MOH File - Shows the current file. May be blank if this function is not being used.

Upload Music File - This file should be a mono, 8k, 16-bit .wav audio file. The file will be shown in the field above once it is uploaded.

If you have difficulties getting the file to work, check the length and size of the file to make sure it's not too long or large. Reduce the file size and try it again. Contact the VoIP team with any additional questions or issues setting this up.
