Teams
What is Teams?
Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app built for hybrid work so you and others can stay informed, organized, and connected. Teams is compatible on Windows, iOS, and Android systems, and can be accessed via most web browsers.
Teams can do several things, including:
-
Chat synchronously or asynchronously with individuals and groups to discuss work or something fun. Messages with others are persistent so you can leave a message or pick up where you left off later with a previous conversation.
-
Form teams to gather people around project work, committees, affinity groups, etc. so they can interact, collaborate, and share information or praise with other members of that community.
-
Assemble apps to improve your ability to connect with others, collaborate, or otherwise enhance your quality of work life.
-
Make audio and video calls using your phone or computer to chat with one or more people within the university system.
-
Meet with others privately or create a public meeting that others can drop into.
