University of Illinois Support Services
Canvas 24/7 and 365 Live Support
Canvas technical support from Instructure is available 24/7 and 365 for all faculty, staff, and students by using the Canvas chat or calling the support hotline at 1-833-228-9829. This information is also quickly available within the main Canvas navigation menu (left-hand blue bar). This support team is excellent and very capable of handling most technical requests.
Zoom 24/7 and 365 Live Support
Zoom technical support can be accessed by going to: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362003-Contact-Zoom-Support, making sure you are signed in to your Illinois Zoom account (upper-right corner of the page), clicking on the chat bubble, and then typing in “representative”.
Canvas and Zoom Live and Ticketed Support
The campus help desk can also help with Canvas or Zoom support issues via emailed tickets, submitting a form, or by phone. Their hours are:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Gies Teaching and Learning Ticketed Support
Gies Teaching and Learning has staff that monitors support requests here: https://go.gies.illinois.edu/eLearningSupport and gets back in touch within 1 business day. They can assist with Canvas issues and some Zoom issues (or can direct you to those who may be able to help more). In the coming months, this will be replaced by a different ticket system (TDX). As this new system rolls out, we will communicate the changes.
