UIUC Anyware, Can I install an application or update an application?

Information regarding application installs and updates in UIUC AnyWare service.
  • Students and faculty cannot perform administrative functions like install or update applications.
  • Installations and updates are handled by the service administrators.
  • The team reviews updates and performs required (not optional) updates monthly.
  • Major changes and some updates are delayed until appropriate semester breaks - summer, winter, etc...
