UPB - Recalling a Timesheet from Pending Status in Web Time Entry
The following instructions are for employees who submitted their timesheet in Web Time Entry 9x but need to make a correction before the Approver approves the timesheet.
A timesheet that has been submitted by an employee may be recalled by the employee while it is in a status of Pending and the time entry period is still open for employees.
Recall Timesheet Steps for Employees
If it is before the Time Entry Cutoff found in the Payroll Schedule, you are allowed to recall your timesheet to make corrections if it is in a Pending status. After making corrections, you must resubmit the timesheet for approval before the Time Entry Cutoff.
Open your timesheet.
- Log in to the Employee Dashboard.
- Select the Enter Time button.
- Select the Pending timesheet for the current pay period.
Recall your timesheet.
- Select the Recall Timesheet button to retract the Pending timesheet from the approval step.
The timesheet status will change from Pending to In Progress. You can then proceed with any necessary changes. You must resubmit your timesheet before the Time Entry Cutoff listed in the Payroll Schedule. It is recommended that you contact your approver so the timesheet can be approved by the deadline.
NOTE: The system auto-generates a comment to log the recall activity.
