macOS, Printers, Installing Print Drivers
Before reading this article, follow our guide here to locate and download the necessary print drivers.
Once you have downloaded the drivers open the Downloads folder in Finder
In the Downloads folder, if the driver is a ZIP archive double-click to extract it
Open the "Driver" folder and locate the most recent version of macOS.
Look for a .pkg file that matches the driver name you downloaded.
Double-click on this .pkg file to begin the driver installation.
Note: If multiple paper size options are provided open the "Letter" folder and not "A4"
Once the Installer opens, a "Welcome" screen will appear
Select "Continue" to proceed
When the Installer asks you to Agree to the License Agreement choose "Agree"
During the "Installation Type" step select "Install" when prompted
When prompted enter the credentials used to login to macOS
Select "Install Software" to begin the installation
When the Print Driver Installation is complete, select "Close"
