Huff Hall 121 Conference Room AV Instructions
Huff Hall 121 is a conference room equipped with a 75" flat panel display (TV), resident PC, wireless presentation device, video conference camera/speaker/microphone bar. Detailed instructions are provided for system use, and contact information is provided for further assistance.
Faculty, staff, and students can request AV setup or training by submitting a ticket to the AHS Helpdesk at helpdesk@ahs.illinois.edu.

Equipment in this Conference Room
- Resident PC provided by IT Partners @ AHS
- Mersive Solstice Pod for wireless presentation
- 75" flat panel display
- Logitech Rally Bar camera/microphone/speaker system
- Remote control for display power and source selection
Turning the System On, selecting source
- Turn on the flat panel display (TV) using the NEC remote control. Press the green Power On button at the upper left corner of the remote.
- To present wirelessly from your own device (Windows, Mac, iOS device), the display should be set to HDMI1. Press HDMI1 on the remote, second row, left button. In-room Logitech Rally Bar conference camera is not available when connected via the wireless presentation device.
- Mersive Solstice Pod home screen should show on display: Huff 121 AHS Conf Rm
- Follow instructions on screen for connection to Huff 121 AHS Conf Rm, either with the Solstice Pod application, or directly via AirPlay. Disconnect when finished.
- To use the resident PC, the display should be set to HDMI2. Press HDMI2 on the remote, second row, center button.

- Ensure the computer is on:
- Wake the computer by moving the mouse or pressing a key. If it is off, turn it on by pressing the PC power button (PC is behind the left edge of display), and log in with your NetID and password. Remember to log off when done.
- The "Rally Bar" camera/microphone/speaker system is always available for video conferencing (Teams, Zoom, etc.) when using the resident PC. Audio input and output settings should indicate "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone - Logi Rally Bar Audio." Camera will automatically pan/tilt/zoom to accommodate participants in the room. Do not touch the camera. Microphones may be muted by pressing the button in the center of either one. The center circle will turn red when muted. If you have special camera control requirements, please ask for assistance.
Turning the System Off
- If resident PC was used, log off the computer, but please do not shut down.
- If wireless presentation was used (Mersive Solstice), please disconnect.
- Turn off the display by pressing the red Standby button at the upper-right corner of the remote.
