Hospital Documentation

Delivery of care for employee pets & the proper documentation of medical records and charging.

There is need for the hospital services to document all visits and charge for services. I have many of my patients, owned by hospital employees who see specialty services "under the table" and no documentation is ever made even though in some cases, diagnostics are done. Puts us in a tricky situation not to mention we don't have a complete medical picture to go on.

Employee Boarding Program Update

  • Amendments to employee boarding program policy
    • In agreement to add new changes to employee boarding policy
    • Proposed amendment will be sent to EBP committee

    • $50 each
    • $5000 for machine - $200/month payment

Late to appointment policy - Neuro

A client is consecutively showing up late to appointments (1-3 hours). There is no policy in place for arriving late, just missed appointments and a booking fee.

Does the hospital need a universal policy?  Or should each service manage separately?

  • Begin charging an overbooking fee if over 20 minutes late and need to be seen or they can reschedule.
