iSchool Rooms: How to Use the Control Panel in Room 126
The control panel in room 126 has a completely different interface from the other rooms. This is a guide on how to navigate around it easily.
Control Panel Guide
The control panel in this room is a touch screen. It is located beneath the computer built in the desk. It will take a moment or two for it to register your touch, so it's important to give it a few seconds if it doesn't respond right away.
Below is the main screen. Selecting a video source option will make Projector B turn on and its screen lower. Please do not manually pull down the projector screens. If you want dual screen projection, then you need to go back to the Home screen on the control panel and press on the "Dual Projection".
Overview of the screen controls on the home screen:
- Use the Built-in PC: When you choose the built-in PC, a selection will appear giving you the option to pick either a Windows or a Mac computer.
- Use a Laptop: This will change the audio and video input so you can connect your own laptop via HDMI.
- Use the Blu-Ray/ DVD Player: This will allow you to play from the Blu-Ray / DVD player at the desk.
- Dual Projection: This allows you to select both projectors to mirror or extend the computer screen.
- Audio Only: This section will allow you to adjust the various audio settings for the room and currently selected device.
