Bitwarden, Moving Personal Vault to "My Items"
Moving passwords from the Enterprise Bitwarden Personal vault to My Items does not delete the passwords. The items remain saved in Bitwarden and will continue to be accessible through "My Items" from the Collections menu.
- Sign in to your Enterprise Bitwarden account.
- From the left navigation menu, Select "Vaults".
- Select "All Items" to display all saved items in your vault.
- In the left navigation panel, expand "Collections" and confirm that "My items" is available. This is where your personal password or other items will be stored.
Tip: You can sort by "Owner" to identify and get the full list of items that are owned by your account. For that, simply click on the "Me" bubble under the owner section.

5. Select the passwords or items you want to move by highlighting the box next to the item. You will know that it is highlighted by the blue check.

6. Select the three-dot menu on the upper right corner of the screen to view the options and Select "Assign to collections".

7. In the assignment window:
-
- Confirm the organization (University of the Illinois).
- Select "My Items" under collections.
- Click "Assign".

Important Note About Ownership
After assigning the item to "My items", the owner field is displayed as the organization (University of Illinois). This does not mean you lose access to the items. The item remains available to you through the "My items" collections in your vault.
The ownership label simply reflects that the items is now stored within the organization's Bitwarden environment.

Your personal passwords or items have now been successfully moved to the "My items" collections and will appear there going forward.
Note:
If your items were previously organized into folders, they will continue to appear in those same folders after being moved to "My items".
