1. 1. Press the Windows Start key to open the Start screen.

2. The MAC address and IP address are listed under the appropriate adapter as Physical Address and IPv4 Address.

3. Then, depending on the type of network connection being used, click on either WiFi or Ethernet on the right-hand side menu.

5.  Scroll down to the bottom of the technical service list, and locate the IPv6 address and IPv4 address fields, where the IP address can be found.

5.  Depending on the type of network connection being used, there are two ways to finally locate the MAC address:
   
   
   • For a WiFi connection, locate the Wi-Fi name; the MAC Address will be listed next to Physical address (MAC).
     
     
   • For an Ethernet connection, locate the Ethernet name; the MAC Address will be listed next to Physical address (MAC).
