Teams, E911, Location incorrect or not showing
My Teams location is wrong, or it doesn't show my location at all and says set location.
Please ensure that the user has location services enabled on their device.
If the user has this setting on, but is still not getting a location, please provide the following information to the Help Desk at consult@illinois.edu:
- NetID
- Operating system
- Form factor (laptop or desktop)
- Connection type (wired, wireless, or both)
- Location (building name)
- Jack number that they are plugged in to (only if they are using a wired connection)
- MAC address(es) (we need the MAC for both wired and wireless if connecting to both, otherwise just the MAC for the network interface they're using)
- (Optional) Additional information (Was this working before? When did you notice it failing? Anything else you want to tell us?)
