Illinois Compass 2g, Student doesn't see all their classes or some are wrong
I am a student enrolled in a class but it does not show up in Compass 2g. Or I am seeing courses I'm not enrolled in.
Compass2g is no longer supported by the University of Illinois. Instructors should instead use Canvas for course websites, and the below support information is no longer maintained or accurate.
Some classes do not use Compass 2g for online coursework, so first double-check that the particular course that is missing will be using Compass 2g during the semester. Courses that do not use Compass 2g may instead use Learn@Illinois Moodle, Canvas, a separate course website, or may not use a website. If the course uses Compass 2g, and you recently added the course via Enterprise, your registration may take one or two days to be reflected in Compass. Roster changes are processed every afternoon.
If you need to access Compass 2g more immediately to complete an assignment, or if you have been enrolled via Enterprise for more than three days, you must contact your instructor or TA; they can add you to the site manually. Technology Services cannot add students to courses.
If you see courses that you aren't enrolled in that likely means the professor of that course selected the wrong roster when creating the course. This is usually fixed in a day or so once they notice the error.
If you drop a course via the Enterprise self-service system it will not be immediately reflected in Illinois Compass 2g. See Canvas, A dropped class or an old class from a previous semester still in course list
If you are an instructor and notice your rosters are incorrect, please see Canvas, Instructors, Adding and deleting rosters from a requested space
