Networking, Web Pages, Forbidden to access website

I tried to go to a website for one of my classes, but it said I was forbidden to access it.
Some websites only allow access to people on the university network. You might run into this problem if you get your Internet access from someone other than the University of Illinois. Fortunately, there may be a way around it. You can use a virtual private network (VPN). The VPN puts your computer on the university network as if you were actually on campus. Information on how to download and use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN program is available here: http://techservices.illinois.edu/services/virtual-private-networking-vpn/download-and-set-up-the-vpn-client
