Enterprise Self-Service, Ordering Transcripts
Official Transcripts
Official transcripts are a sealed and tamper-proof version of your academic records, usually delivered directly to the company or institution requesting them. Official transcripts can be ordered via the Self-Service portal for a small fee. To order official transcripts, follow these steps:
- Navigate to https://apps.uillinois.edu, then click Student & Faculty Self-Service.
- Select University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, then sign in using your NetID and password.
- Select Registration and Records in the Student Services section.
- Finally, select Request Official Transcript under the Records heading.
- There will be two options labeled "Request Official Transcript": one for ordering paper (physical) transcripts, the other for ordering electronic transcripts.
Deactivated or Unrecoverable Account
If you aren't able to log into your account and cannot recover your password, please see the "Login Trouble" section below. Additionally, transcripts can be ordered from our partner, Parchment, without needing to log in to your Illinois account: https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/34849/institution
Unofficial Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts are free to request, but most institutions will not accept them as verifiable records. Unofficial transcripts are better suited for personal reference and records, and can be accessed through the Illinois Self-Service portal.
- Navigate to https://apps.uillinois.edu, and click Student & Faculty Self-Service.
- Select University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and then sign in using your NetID and password.
- Select Registration and Records in the Student Services section.
- Select View Academic History/Unofficial Transcript under the Records heading.
- Finally, select your Transcript Level and Transcript Type to view your unofficial transcripts.

Login Trouble
If you're having trouble logging in to your Illinois account to retrieve your transcripts, there's several things you can do to troubleshoot:
- If you don't remember your Illinois password, you may need to reset it: NetID Center, How do I change my NetID Password?.
- If you don't remember your Illinois NetID, you can recover it by following these steps: AITS - Service Desk - NetID Center - I Forgot my NetID/UIN.
- If your web browser's cache hasn't been cleared in a while, it can sometimes cause login issues on Illinois websites. Try clearing your cache: Browsers, Clearing Cache and Cookies.
