Tax Forms, Accessing Form 1098-T
Form 1098-T Tuition Statement is a U.S. Tax document completed by the Bursar and then provided to students. It will be delivered to a student electronically on January 31st of every year they have a reportable transaction (in general, when tuition has been paid).
Form 1098-T may not automatically be issued for students who are not U.S. residents. The University Bursar can be contacted by email at bursarhelp@uillinois.edu or by phone at 217-333-2180 to request one, or for any other questions about tax forms.
Viewing or printing your Form 1098-T:
- Log into the Self-Service portal.
- On the University Bursar card, click 1098T / Access 1098T tax forms
- You may need to click the blue DISCOVER MORE button in the bottom-right corner to see the Bursar card.
- Choose a year from the Select Tax Year drop-down to view that year's Form 1098-T.
- To obtain a printable .pdf file of the form, click the Print icon (
) in the top-right corner of the screen.
