Kaltura, Import Channels
Channel/Media Gallery Managers now have the ability to import content from other Channels/Media Galleries they manage.
The channel import feature is only available to a channel manager. It is a useful feature if you wish to copy large numbers of media assets to a new Media Space channel or gallery in Canvas or Moodle. The feature may be particularly useful for LMS course administrators who wish to copy over a media gallery from an older site, as media galleries to not move when a course copy is made.
This feature copies ALL media assets from another channel. There is no way to select a subset of the media files, it is all or nothing at this time.
To import content from other Channels/Media Galleries that are managed by you
1. Enter the Media Gallery or Channel.
When a Channel/Media Gallery Manager enters an empty Channel/Media Gallery, the following message is displayed:

2. The importing process can also be initiated from the Actions drop down menu.

3. Choose a Channel/Media Gallery to import content from. The list includes all Channels/Media Galleries the user manages that have content.

After the import is complete you will be required to refresh the page to view the imported content.
