Troubleshooting steps for a document camera display issues.

Troubleshooting Document Cameras

Is the system on?

Make sure the system is turned on and that you selected the document camera source. In some classrooms the document camera is within a locked cabinet that only unlocks when the system is on and the source is selected. Listen for the click, then open the drawer.

Is the light on the document camera power button red or blue? (only applicable to some models)

If it is red, press and hold until it turns blue.

Is the image not showing at all, or just too dark?

If the image is dark, press the button on the document camera with a lightbulb symbol.

Is the image upside down?

On a PX-10E press the far left button, which is a circle comprised of four arrows under the heading "Image Operations."

Is there no HDMI signal?

Ensure that the HDMI cable is plugged into "HDMI out" output jack on the back of the document camera.
