ClassTech, Special Event Support
This is an article defining how ClassTech provides support for special events.
What services does Technology Services provide for events?
Upon request, Technology Services can provide an event operator to help set up the AV system in a general assignment classroom or Levis Center. They can arrive 15 minutes prior to an event for assistance with microphones, projection, and other AV technology, and stay for the event in case of any issues. Technology Services currently charges $25 an hour (minimum one hour) for special event operation through the Help Desk (not technicians).
We also provide 30 free minutes of support, 15 minutes before the event starts and staying 15 minutes into the event to make sure things start smoothly. Please specify which service you want in your request.
Our event support hours are:
Mon-Fri, 9am - 8pm
Sat-Sun, 12:30pm - 4:30pm
