122 Bevier Hall - How to control front-facing Vaddio webcam
The 122 Bevier Hall smart classroom is equipped with two webcams: one facing the students (fixed), and one facing the instructors (front-facing). Learn how to use the remote to control the Vaddio front-facing webcam.
The Vaddio webcam in 122 is controlled exclusively by a small remote.

To operate the camera, first make sure the Crestron system is powered on, and press the IR 1 button on the remote.

To zoom in and out, press the - and + buttons on the remote.

The webcam can be moved from side to side and up and down to follow a moving instructor and/or to better frame a presenter.
To move the webcam, use the directional buttons on the remote.

When the Crestron system is turned off, the webcam will automatically shut down and store itself. You do not need to power it off.
Remember: if the webcam doesn't respond, even if the LED light is blinking, try pressing IR 1 on the remote to restore communication.
