Digital Signage, Cannot view properties of locations and/or players

This KB article details why certain users are not able to view/edit digital signage locations and/or players in Four Winds Interactive as implemented by the Illinois Digital Signage Service and what to do if such abilities are required.

Key Issue:

When trying to access the properties of a Location in the Content Manager tree or the properties of a Content Player, a message for insufficient permissions appears.

Setting media to Unlisted.

Before the implementation of Four Winds Interactive (FWi) Content Manager shared database model, many users were accustomed to having full access to view and edit all properties within the system. With the implementation of the shared database model, this access more restricted to prevent accidental changes/deletions to important settings.
