University Network Jacks

Information about network jacks at the University
Network wall jacks around university buildings are commonly labeled with a jack number. This number is often important information allowing IT Pros to enable or configure the jack to allow network access.

For reference, shown below are a couple of examples of what these network jacks and their numbers look like. Note that jacks with the numbers like HxP-##-## are used, while (usually blue) jacks with a different number format are generally not used.
