BDM - How do you remove pop-up blocker?
Instructions on how to remove pop-up blocker when attempting to add or retrieve documents in Banner - BDM X-tender Application.
Banner – BDM-Xtender ApplicationXtender appears to ‘do nothing’ when the Add/Retrieve Documents option(s) is selected.
The ApplicationXtender (BDM-Xtender) application opens the IMAGE or the QUERY RESULT SET in a new browser window. It appears to use the POP-UP function to achieve this. However, by default most browsers block pop-ups. Users need to adjust the POP-UP options.
Symptom
When attempting to Add Documents or Retrieve Documents via BDM-Xtender, the system appears “do nothing” and does not launch a secondary browser session or tab.
Workaround
Turn off the POP-UP blocker or allow pop-ups. Please reference the KB document found at https://answers.uillinois.edu/15047
