How do I ensure my Lecture Capture is recording in the classroom?
If you'd like to confirm your lecture capture is recording, you can use the steps below to confirm that.
ATTENTION: You can ignore the "Not recording" status displayed at the top left of some of our touch screens. Recording status can only be verified by looking at the at the Echo360 device in the classroom or by an LTS Support staff member through the Echo360 admin page.
- Wake the display if needed by pressing the Home button.
- If a scheduled capture is recording, you'll see the front panel display a "RECORDING" message with the time remaining for the capture below it.
- If it's not recording, a staff member can verify on Echo360 why it's not recording.
