Siebel Center E-Lock Graduate Students Import

This article will explain how to give office/lab access to CS Graduate Students at the beginning of the academic year. Before the semester begins, submit a .csv file with the student's NetID and room number to The request may take up to a week to process.

Every academic year, CS graduate students are assigned to a specific office/lab space within the Siebel Center. To ensure that all students receive the correct access in a timely manner, we ask that the CS department send Engineering IT the student information and room numbers in a .csv file. The .csv file must include the NetID and the room number of the student's office/lab as well as the start and expiry dates of the access. If the student needs access to more than one room, enter in their NetID, start and expiry date again with the additional room they need access to.

Please, refer to the downloadable template below for formatting. It will be easier to work off this template file.

If you choose to work off a different Excel file, click “Save As” and be sure to save as type “CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)" before submitting the file.

Once the information has been compiled on a .csv file, send the file to and allow for one week for the request to process and be completed.
