Is video streaming allowed in classrooms for academic purposes?
Below is the copyright protocol for streaming video in UIC classrooms
Professors are allowed to stream videos in UIC Classrooms for academic purposes under the Classroom Use Exemption, if all the below points applies:
- Be in a classroom ("or similar place devoted to instruction").
- Be there in person, engaged in face-to-face teaching activities.
- Be at a nonprofit educational institution.
- Be using a lawfully made copy
