Room Audio Preventative Maintenance
  • Check the level and quality of all program sources
    • Assuming equal device levels, all program sources audio level should be similar when connecting to the AV system
  • Check the level, quality, and intelligibility of room microphones used for voice lifting
  • Check the level and quality of audio mix sent to the ALS system
    • This can be checked using an ALS receiver or most ALS systems have an headphone jack and meters present on the front panel
  • Check the level and quality of audio mix sent to LC recorders
  • Check the level and mix of near- and far-side audio in video conference equipped systems
