Email Interface

To subscribe to the mailing list:

1. Send a message to lists@aces.illinois.edu from the address you want to subscribe to the list
2. In the subject line of your message, type in: subscribe cpsc-seminars@aces.illinois.edu Firstname Lastname (replace the first name and last name with your own name).
3. Leave the message body blank.
4. Send the email
5. You will receive a confirmation email with the subject “Welcome to list cpsc-seminars”

To unsubscribe from the mailing list:

1. Send a message to lists@aces.illinois.edu from the address you want to subscribe to the list
2. In the subject line of your message, type in: unsubscribe cpsc-seminars@aces.illinois.edu Firstname Lastname (replace first name and last name with your own name).
3. Leave the message body blank.
4. Send the email
5. You will receive a confirmation email with the subject “Removed from cpsc-seminars”

Web Interface

To subscribe to a list:

1. Log into https://lists.illinois.edu.
2. If you know the name of the list that you want to subscribe to, type it in the search box and click "Search lists".  Alternatively, you can click the "Index of Lists" which will display the lists that are configured for public visibility.  
3. Click the list name of the list you wish to subscribe.
4. In the menu on the left, click "Subscribe". This will send a subscription request to the list owner for approval.

To unsubscribe from a list:

1. Log into https://lists.illinois.edu.
2. Click the "My lists" link.
3. Click the list name you want to unsubscribe.  
4. On the list web page, click the "Unsubscribe" link in the left menu. 
5. Done, you are no longer a member

Email Notifications

In the weekly Crop Sciences seminar email notifications, you will find the links ‘Subscribe’ and ‘Unsubscribe’ at the footer of the email. If you click on either of these it will automatically generate an email following the steps above. You just have to send the email it generates.
