COLLAB/MRP RM 20 CLASSROOM AV INSTRUCTIONS
The ColLab/MRP Rm 20 classroom is equipped with a projector, and resident PC. Detailed instructions are provided for system use, and contact information is provided for further assistance.
Faculty, staff, and students can request AV setup or training by submitting a ticket to the IT Partners @ AHS Helpdesk at helpdesk@ahs.illinois.edu.

EQUIPMENT IN THIS ROOM
- Resident Windows PC (Laptop) with external mouse provided by IT Partners @ AHS
- LCD Projector and Screen
- Remote control for projector
- Spare HDMI cable for personal laptop connection
TURNING SYSTEM ON, SELECTING SOURCE
- Turn on the projector by pressing the blue ON button on the Epson remote control (top-left button).
- Select HDMI 1 (second row, left button) on the remote control to display the Resident PC.
- Ensure that the computer is turned on. Move the mouse to activate the PC. If it does not display the Windows splash screen with time and date, check that laptop is turned on with power button at upper right on keyboard. See Troubleshooting hints below.
- Log in with your own NetID and password. Remember to log off when done.
- To use your own laptop, connect it to the spare HDMI cable at the table, and select HDMI 2 (second row, center button) on the Epson remote control.
TURNING THE SYSTEM OFF
- Log off the computer, but please do not shut down.
- Press the blue STANDBY button on the Epson remote control (top-center button). You will be prompted to press again to shut down.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have difficulty getting an image to appear on either the laptop screen or projection screen, and you are confident that both the PC and projector are turned on, please check the Windows Display/Project settings by holding the Windows key on the keyboard and pressing the P key. This will produce a small menu that allows you to choose PC Screen Only, Duplicate, Extend, or Second Screen Only.
