Korbyt Digital Signage – AHS Marcom Playlist Takeover
This article explains how AHS Marcom can use the Playlist Takeover feature in Korbyt Digital Signage to temporarily override scheduled content. It covers uploading content to the Marcom Takeover folder and scheduling the takeover playlist. This process is useful for events, the start of the semester, or other special announcements.
Step 1 – Upload Content to the Marcom Takeover Folder
- Log in to Korbyt and open Media Manager.
(Refer to Korbyt Digital Signage – Login and Media Manager for detailed instructions.) - Navigate to the takeover folder:
Media Manager → Root → Unit Content Folders → College of Applied Health Sciences → AHS Marcom Takeover - Upload your content to this folder.
Step 2 – Schedule Content
- Expand the left pane and go to Schedule → Playlists.
- Click the folder icon to view the hierarchical playlist structure.
- Navigate to:
Playlists → Root → Unit Playlists → College of Applied Health Sciences → AHS Marcom Takeover Playlist → AHS Marcom Takeover Playlist Schedule - Click the pencil icon to edit the playlist.
- In the Scheduling section, set the desired dates and times for the takeover.
- In the Players section, review which players are assigned to this playlist.
Important: Do not edit the playlist titled “AHS Marcom Takeover Content – Do Not Change”.
