114 HUFF SEMINAR ROOM AV INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions for use of the AV system in 114 Huff Seminar Room

DO NOT REMOVE TOUCH PANEL FROM BASE OR DISCONNECT POWER CABLE FROM SIDE OF PANEL 

  • Best results will be achieved by using the provided laptop.
    • Laptop should be connected by a VGA cable from the wall and VGA/HDMI adapter at the laptop.  Make sure to connect audio cable from the adapter to the laptop.
  • Note that sometimes a firm press/tap will be required for touch panel selections.

  • Tap touch panel to begin. (AV control touch panel is on the counter inside 4th closet door.)
  • Tap A/V System On.
    • Projector will start.
    • Touch panel will indicate that the system is starting, and that you must wait 40 seconds for additional selections to appear.
  • BEFORE touching other selections, check that laptop display is showing on projector.  By default, system should have started with the correct source selection.
  • If necessary, select WALL BOX item on panel, then VGA.  DO NOT select any other sources.
  • When finished, touch MAIN MENU, and then SYSTEM OFF.

  • Projection Screen is controlled by push button panel to the left of the whiteboard.
