Instructions to purchase Adobe License and log into Adobe Account

Adobe Sign-In and Licensing Instructions

Adobe products (except Adobe Reader) now require you to sign in. When prompted, please log in using your NetID and password.

If you receive an error when attempting to sign in, follow the steps below to activate your license.


Step 1: Confirm License Purchase

  1. Go to https://webstore.illinois.edu/home/
  2. Click Personal Purchases in the upper right.
  3. Locate Adobe in the list of products.
  4. Find Adobe Creative Cloud for University Staff Enterprise Access (Expires 6/30/2026) or Click This Link to the product page.
  5. Click Add to Cart.
  6. Log in with your NetID and password and complete the checkout process.

Licensing may take 1–2 business days to process. Please wait at least one full business day before attempting to sign in.


Step 2: Sign In to Adobe Creative Cloud

  1. Click the Start button, browse your apps list, and open Adobe Creative Cloud.
  2. If prompted, Sign In.
    • If not prompted, click the account icon in the upper right, choose Sign Out, then click Sign In again.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. If asked, choose Work account.
  5. On the Illinois sign-in screen, enter your email address and password to complete the login.

You may see a message saying, “You don’t have access to manage apps.” This is normal and can be ignored. Your Adobe products are now licensed for another year.
