Add new photo to Microsoft account
Instructions to add or update the photo used by Microsoft that shows in Outlook, Teams, etc
Microsoft Office 365 apps like Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel have a picture of you that is also visible to others in Teams and Outlook when you send an email, chat or call. If you do not currently have a picture or would like to update the existing picture you can follow these steps.
- In any Office 365 product, click on your current picture in the upper right corner. If you do not have a picture, your initials will likely be in that location. Click on the initials.
- Choose View Account. This will log you into your Microsoft Office 365 account online
- If you are prompted, choose to Trust illinois.edu by clicking Continue
- In the Microsoft Office 365 online account, click on your picture or initials in the upper right corner.
- Choose View My Microsoft 365 profile
- This will bring up your profile and towards the middle will be your existing picture or initials.
- Click on the camera next to the picture or initials.
- Follow the prompts to Upload a new picture
