Connecting your computer to uie-uofi

Connecting to uie-uofi

1. In the bottom-right corner near the Time & Date, click on the Network Icon
   • Depending on the current status, this can also appear as Wi-Fi bars or a Globe with a null symbol
     
     
2. Select uie-uofi from the available network options
   
   
3. Check the box for Connect automatically and hit Connect
   
   
4. When prompted, enter your user name and password:
   1. User name: your netID
   2. Password: your netID password
   3. Do not check the box for Use my Windows user account
      
      
5. Select OK. 
   
   
6. When prompted with "Continue connecting?," select Connect

Troubleshooting connection to uie-uofi

If you are having trouble connecting to uie-uofi or perhaps have changed your password and are not being prompted to re-enter it, please do the following

1. Select the Network Icon
   
   
2. Click on Network & Internet Settings
   
3. In the newly opened Status window, use the left sidebar and select Wi-Fi
   
   
4. Select Manage Known Networks
   
5. Select uie-uofi from the list of known networks
   
   
6. Select Forget
   
7. Reconnect to uie-uofi using the steps above
