Adobe Document Cloud, Add Comments to a PDF

Adobe has introduced a new feature that allows simultaneous commenting on PDFs opened in Adobe Document Cloud. Follow the steps below to access PDFs via the email invite and comment in specific areas of the PDF with the Sticky Note feature.

If you have been invited to comment on a document, you will receive an email invitation. Note: your email client may not download Adobe brand logos. See the example below, and feel free to reach out separately to the document owner to verify authenticity.

Select the "Open" button to launch a browser window and go to the shared PDF.

Before commenting, click in the "Comment" field to be prompted to sign in with an Adobe ID or as a guest. If signing in as a guest, use your full name.

Once signed in, DO NOT use the general comment field. Use the Sticky Note feature to place a comment on or near the element in the PDF that you're commenting on.

Note: Comments added without a Sticky Note might appear out of order in the sidebar.
