University Bursar - How do I change my preferred name on my student account?

To update your name in UI-Pay:

Students:

Select your University from Self-Service
Enter your Net ID and Password
In the "University Bursar" card, choose "UI-Pay"
Select "User Preferences"
Input your preferred name

Authorized Payers:

Go to UI-Pay Authorized Payer
Enter Login Name and Password and click "Log In"
Select "User Preferences"
Input your preferred name

Please Note: Your full legal name will not be changed on the billing statement. Changes to preferred name in UI-Pay are not reflected in Banner systems or other University systems. For more information updating your preferred name, see the University of Illinois System policy.
