ClassTech, Catchbox Microphone Use in GA Classrooms
Using a Catchbox System in General Assignment Classrooms
Instructors or their departments can purchase a Catchbox system and plug it into any of our rooms with an XLR input. They need to purchase Catchbox Plus which includes the cube, the wireless microphone that fits in the cube, and the hub.
More information and purchasing contacts can be found here.
A limited number of Catchbox systems are available through the Library Scholarly Commons Loanable Tech Program. In addition to the stand-alone systems, there are several cubes at the Media Commons that can be checked out and used with a lavalier microphone in rooms with more than one microphone.
More information can be found here ClassTech, Troubleshooting, Additional Microphone Request.
