Regulated Research, How to Authenticate and Activate Adobe Applications in the Enclave

This document walks through the workflow of authenticating to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App (CCDA), which brokers activation to all other Adobe apps on a Regulated Research VM.
  1. From the desktop, open the Start Menu.

  2. Click the "All" button to open up a list of all the apps on the machine:

  3. Locate Adobe Creative Cloud in the list, and click it:

  4. You may see an initialization page before anything opens up:

  5. If you are not logged in to Adobe yet, you will see the CC Login page, from here you can log into Adobe as you normally would on any subscription with your Illinois email.

  6. Once you log in, you may see the initialization page again. Once you see the Home page loading, you may close the Creative Cloud App. You may see errors during the loading process, and the loading tab may never fully load. This is due to security requirements within the Enclave. If you see the page below, your credential was processed and you should be able to log into any Adobe app on the machine and have your subscription carry through.

NOTE: To install the Adobe applications, please follow the steps in Regulated Research, How to Install Applications on a Regulated Research VM from Company Portal. Apps cannot be installed from within the Creative Cloud Desktop.
