University Bursar - How do I view my federal student loan history?
Information about your student loans can come from different places.
Sources of Student Loan Information
- Federal student loan information can be found at Federal Student Aid.
- Information about campus-based or institutional loans with University of Illinois can be found through Heartland ECSI.
- Private loan information can be found through your lender or servicer. You can view lender information on your credit reports through annualcreditreport.com.
Access Federal Student Loan Information
- Visit Federal Student Aid
- Select "Log In"
- Input your FSA ID username and password
- You may be asked to update your contact information and agree to the terms and conditions
- Click "Continue"
- Continue to your FSA Dashboard

To Accept or Cancel A Federal Loan
In-school borrowers can accept or cancel their federal student loans through the financial aid notification on Student Self-Service. For more information, visit the financial aid office at your University:
