Canvas@Illinois, Requesting Guest (sponsored affiliate) Learning Accounts

This page details the requirements for requesting affiliate accounts for use with Canvas and possibly other learning systems


To get started, please visit this page (as a UIUC authenticated user) and use the options shown in the image below, selecting the appropriate campus unit from the drop-down list, and including your Illinois email address:


Illinois Learnin Guest Request Form

  • If you do not see your unit/department in the unit list please contact your director as there may be a specific setup for your department.

  • If you do not see "affiliate-lms" in the affiliation list for your unit, you can submit a ticket with AITS to have it added. Please be sure to inform your Unit Manager of this request.

  • If your Unit Manager does not have access to request/approve affiliates, please have them contact Pat Schlehuber directly.
