Chicago

Starting Fall 2025, all refundable fees at UIC will be processed by the Office of the Registrar. Students who want to opt out of the Student-to-Student and Sustainability fees can do so by contacting the Office of the Registrar at registration@uic.edu. Springfield

Refundable fees at UIS are processed by the Registrar Office of Records and Registration. Students who want to opt out of the Student-to-Student Grant Fee ($4) and Green Fee ($5) can do so by contacting the their office:

• On-campus students must come in person to complete the waiver form. Springfield Records and Registration office hours of operation are from 8:30-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Online or Peoria campus students can email the Registrar Office of Records and Registration at registrar@uis.edu with their name, UIN, and state that they are online students.
