Follow these steps to identify network performance issues when accessing UIUC resources from China. This is intended to be a self-service troubleshooting guide due to the variance in home networking configurations.
If third-party anti-virus or firewall software is installed, disable the software and run the same network tests; record the download speed, upload speed, and latency
