Gradescope is a tool designed to streamline and standardize collection and grading of paper-based, digital, and code assignments. It supports problem sets and projects as well as worksheets, quizzes, exams, and papers.
Gradescope is workflow grading tool that helps manage student submissions of assignments, allows for feedback by instructors, and gives instructors the ability to export and see analytics on the assignments for their course.
UIUC has a campus-wide license through the Grainger College of Engineering.
Gradescope currently uses the Illinois login. From their login screen, choose "School Credentials" and scroll down to the button for "University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign NetID"
Integration with Canvas for easy Gradescope setup, roster and staff linking, and grade reporting back to Canvas is coming soon.
