Room Audio Preventative Maintenance
- Check the level and quality of all program sources
- Assuming equal device levels, all program sources audio level should be similar when connecting to the AV system
- Check the level, quality, and intelligibility of room microphones used for voice lifting
- Check the level and quality of audio mix sent to the ALS system
- This can be checked using an ALS receiver or most ALS systems have an headphone jack and meters present on the front panel
- Check the level and quality of audio mix sent to LC recorders
- Check the level and mix of near- and far-side audio in video conference equipped systems
