Learn how to upload a spreadsheet to Canvas to add extra-credit items to the gradebook.
- In your Canvas course navigation, click on Grades to get to the gradebook.

- In the upper right corner, click Export, then select Export Current Gradebook View to download the Canvas Gradebook template.

- Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Excel and create a new Sheet in the Canvas Gradebook template.

- From your EoS survey respondents list, copy and paste the NetIDs of the survey participants into the newly created sheet.

- Click on the current gradebook sheet.

- Delete the columns with the existing Assignments so the other grade items and assignments are not affected by this procedure.

- Create a new column, then rename the column to "EOS Survey Extra Credit".

- Identify the row of the first student listed in the spreadsheet.

- Then identify the intersection between the extra credit column and the row of the first student.

- In the intersection, insert the formula: =IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(C4, Sheet1!A:A, 0)), 5, 0) and press enter.
- Note: #4 in formula is for example purpose only. This may differ on a case-by-case basis. Please adjust C4 in the formula if your row number is different.
- 5,0 are numbers that can be modified based on the required extra-credit points that are assigned.

- Now click on the cell with the pasted formula, hold and drag the plus sign down to copy the formula to the entire column.

- Click on Export and export the spreadsheet as a CSV file.
