ATLAS FormBuilder - Managing a Waitlist from the Administrator Console

This tutorial explains how to use the administrator dashboard of FormBuilder to manage an event registration form's waitlist manually.

The waitlist of an event registration form can be managed manually at any time, even when automatic waitlist-handling settings are active -- as long as the waitlist has been enabled for the form's current period. For information on enabling a form's waitlist, visit ATLAS FormBuilder - Managing Period-Wide Registration Settings (Waitlisting, Max Registrant Limit).

To begin managing your form's waitlist, navigate to your form's dashboard and click Number Waitlisted under the "Response Data" section.

Alternatively, while within your form, click the hamburger menu icon in the upper left corner of the page to open the navigation menu, and select the Waitlist option from the section titled "Form Responses."

Once on the waitlist page, you'll be presented with a variety of options.

At the top of the page is a dropdown menu that allows the user to select which period's waitlist to manage.

In the center of the page is a chart that represents the waitlist's current order, which is processed from top to bottom. To change the order of the responses on the waitlist, either click the arrow buttons next to each entry, or click and drag entries around from inside the column labeled "Move."

Next to each response in the list are two buttons that can be used to either register the response or cancel it. Clicking either of these buttons will remove their associated response from the waitlist, and will cause any routing triggers conditional upon responses being registered or cancelled to execute.

Any changes made to the waitlist take effect immediately, so the page can be exited as soon as you are finished.
