Policy
South Clinic clients missing two appointments may be asked to pay a $50.00 non-refundable deposit before rescheduling. This $50.00 fee will be applied to the client's account as a credit towards the rescheduled appointment cost.
Charging the $50.00 fee is at the discretion of the service area seeing the client and it is the responsibility of the service area to convey to Client Services that the fee has been charged.
Guidelines
In order to discourage no-shows, clients will be asked to prepay $50.00 before rescheduling a missed appointment. The prepayment will act as a non-refundable deposit on the upcoming appointment.
The prepayment may be waived when deemed appropriate because of special circumstances.
Missed appointments cause a loss of revenue and teaching opportunities for students. As a service to clients, reminder calls, text messages, or emails shall be sent at least two days prior to the scheduled appointment.
Procedure (if applicable)
- South Clinic clients who miss two appointments after receiving a reminder call, text message, or email shall be asked for a $50.00 non-refundable deposit prior to rescheduling the missed appointment.Once paid, this amount will be credited to the client’s account as a deposit.
- In the event that the client again misses an appointment, the deposit will be credited to the appropriate service, removing the credit balance on the account. Any additional missed appointments will result in a charge of $50.00 to be credited to the appropriate service area.
