Office 365, How to Delete Inbox Rules from Outlook

Instruction for deleting inbox rules from your Outlook client
Inbox rules are used to manipulate messages when they are received in your mailbox. These rules can change the message's status, move it to a new folder, and even forward the message to a new destination. Please follow these instructions to delete an inbox rule from your mailbox.

From Outlook on the Web

1. Open your browser and navigate to https://outlook.office.com
2. Login with your University email address and password
3. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner

4. In the search box, type "rules"

5. Click on the option for Inbox rules
6. A new Settings window will open, showing your current list of inbox rules
7. Find the rule that is forwarding your emails and click the "delete" button

From Outlook 365 on Windows

1. Open your Outlook client
2. Click File in the toolbar

3. Click the Manage Rules & Alerts button

4. A new Rules and Alerts window will open, showing your current list of inbox rules
5. Find the rule that is forwarding your emails, click on it, and then click "Delete"

From Outlook 365 on Mac

1. Open your Outlook client
2. Click Tools in the toolbar and then click on Rules...
